Marc Jacobs despatched pumps down his spring 2019 runway with greater-big bows that seemed like sugary confections; Rodarte provided a few bow-accented booties that felt like fabulous gifts ready to be unwrapped; Zimmermann took a present-day and minimalist method to a cutesy accessory…. This decadence trend is what Fashion Week is all about natural whimsy.
I’m afraid I have to disagree with it myself, but flip-flops are going high-style.
